An exciting opportunity to join our high-performing team as a driven, ambitious, and adaptable finance data operations analyst, who takes a hands-on approach to their daily responsibilities of key back-office processes. We are looking for a superstar who can be integral to the future of the finance function.

The role will suit an individual with great analytical skills who wants to gain valuable experience and exposure in an exciting start-up. This individual will form a core part of the Global Finance team, within the FinOps subteam and will be responsible for the monitoring of our proprietary payment system ensuring a proper flow of the funds from guest to host. This role will be based in Portugal but will be working for all our Global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily reconciliation of incoming and outgoing transfers within the payment system (identifying misconfigurations and miscalculations)
• Identification of flaws and improvements needed on the flow to ensure the minimum delay in the payouts
• Partner with our product team to improve our proprietary payment system
• Collaborate with other teams to drive operational efficiency and process improvements
• Maintain and improve fin-ops reports
• Assist in ad hoc analyses for Finance or other teams

  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Based in Porto area
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, particularly using Excel (super user); comfort working with large data sets and the ability to identify data inconsistencies and patterns
• Studied advanced mathematics
• Project Management skills
• SQL knowledge
• Comfortable navigating cloud applications
• Fluent in English and Portuguese (C1/C2)
• Analytical, problem-solving mind
• Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality
• Able to multitask, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive hands-on attitude
• The ability to work with the highest ethical and professional quality standards
• Previous experience working in a startup environment would be an advantage
